Thanksgiving for 40 days fast and prayer! =)
Hallo everyone,
As most of you know, I am going to Legal Aid Bureau to work in August and it is a government agency to help those who cannot afford lawyers but need legal aid.
As I am reading the 40 days fast and prayer booklet, I am really thankful that God is so good to me, and has planned my life and my career. As most of the 40 days fast and prayer booklet is about God's heart for the poor and needy, I was affirmed that it is indeed God's call for me to go to Legal Aid Bureau at this time, to serve the poor and needy and make a difference for His glory.
God is indeed good because He is preparing my heart to go into my new job at Legal Aid with this 40 days fast and prayer. I had wanted a longer break between jobs so I could among other things prepare for my wedding and also prepare myself for my new job, but I did not get a long break. But God had planned it that he was preparing my heart now (before my break and better than I can ever plan the preparation of my heart) with the 40 days fast and prayer. He is giving me His compassion for the poor and needy and also building my faith that He will do more than all I can ask or imagine in my new job.
Wanna bless everyone that indeed God is good to you and He plans every detail of your life. =)
Wanna bless everyone too that we will be givers of God's love and compassion (and not be like the container that keeps receiving though it is full and becomes useless). =)
